This was a movie that took the "Killer" doll or toy to a whole new level and really an intersting story that I really enjoy watching . Brad Dourif is amazing in this movie as Chucky the voice he delivers is freakin' creepy !
The story for this film was really well put together and written very well. Brad Dourif voiced Chucky as he has through the entire series, join the cast this time around was Catherine Elise as the spunky Kyle.
This movie is a great sequel to the original in that they took the remaining characters from the original and explained what happened to them moving forward.
This movie is a prequel to the first film and at the same time is a sequel in the over all franchise. This movie had an incredible cast with Fiona Dourif as Nica and Danielle Biscutti as the ultra bitchy Barb.
This movie is anther film that is so good it's almost a perfect slasher movie, I really liked the that they honestly tied it all together in the end of this film and the added mid credit scene was amazing in that it brought the series full circle .
This is a good movie with an interesting enough story to it but this was the last good childs play movie until 2013's Curse of Chucky .
This movie has a few bright spots in it like the legendary John Waters playing Pete Peters a sleazy tabloid reporter and Jennifer Tilly playing herself and of course Tiff.
Overall I didn't like this movie much at all other the the above mention "bright spots" this was almost the worst film in the series... Almost .
This film stars Jennifer Tilly as Tiff and she voicues the Tiff doll as well, Brad Dourif returns to voice Chucky the film also stars a young Katherine Heigl.
The acting in this movie was horrible for the most part although I did enjoy the skills of John Ritter in this movie.
The plot centers around the marriage of Tiff and Chucky and them transfereing their souls into the bodies of Jade (Heigl) and Jesse played by Nick Sabile, this been the point of each movie finding someone to transfer souls with which is the one thing that sort of didn't work for me and I get that Chucky gets a new lease and has to play "hide the soul" with the first person he revels his true self to in each movie but it got old after the 3rd film and they should have just had Chucky go on killing people as a doll in the fourth and fifth film, why make a story that most people are going to hate by having him get married and then having a kid, that adds to the one thing wrong with these last two films too much comedy and not enough fear .
I hope you are enjoying my franchise review blog series and as always feel free to contac me here on the site or via e-mail or twitter :) NEXT UP the Scream Franchise !!
