I started this mission for very selfish reasons and I know that, I want to rebuild my body so I can work on camera for this TOP SECRET PROJECT I keep talking about on social media . I feel that the best way for me to do this project in front of the camera in a starring role is if I can change my body, get in peak condition and focus on the role that will most likely define my acting career .
I started out on this career path as a writer and director and only wanted to do small cameos in my films but over the last year I've suffered some tragic losses in my life and those events have changed my focus . I started looking at horror writing differently and while I won't say I ever wanted to start moving away from horror that is what seems to be happening organically . I love writing horror scripts because there are so many different ways to tell a scary story and honestly there are a million and one ways to kills someone in a movie . As I started writing this TOP SECRET PROJECT I started really enjoying writing this genre of story and it got really fun and exciting to start developing the characters, story and script that it's all I've been writing lately . This project won't go into production for a couple years and that's okay because I want this project to be the best it can be so I'm putting it on the long slow development train so I get it right .
The next project I'm doing is called The Vengeful One which had it's casting auditions last night and decisions will be made on Monday . This is a project that will see me hope into the directors chair again because this project is very close to me and the story is very much a part of me on many levels . Production will start at the end of May and go through the first weekend in June with a release date near the end of the year .
We also have Sins of Man II : Vengeance coming out this year which is a movie that Chris Fyfe my Executive Producer / Editor has put alot of time and effort into and I want to take this opportunity to once again say THANK YOU Chris for helping me realize my dream of making movies ! We make a great team and there are big things in the future !
I want to end this blog with an inspirational quote from one of the people I look up to Diamond Dallas Page the quote is "Life is 10 percent of what happens to you and 90 percent of how you react to it." This quote changed my life the first time I heard it so much to the point where I got a diamond tattooed on my forearm with the number 90 in the middle of it so I always remember the quote.
Take Care Everyone and remember Stay Humble, Stay Hungry My Friends .
