This project while on the Top Guy Productions release schedule is a few years away so I can't give away too much but here is what I can tell you in the five most common questions .
I knew that this project will most likely be the defining moment in my career both in front of the camera as well as behind it as a writer and that's alot of pressure to put on yourself but I knew I could handle it. I know that this project will be physically, mentally and emotionally draining for me but I feel with my mindset there is no way I will allow myself to fail.
Anyone that reads my social media and these blogs knows what I'm putting myself through physically to prepare for this role. I'm dieting, exercising alot more then I was before and I'm training in several forms of fighting to get ready to play this role. Now I want to spill some beans so here are the answers to FIVE burning questions I get from people ...
Q: What is the inspiration for this project ?
A: My brother was the inspiration for this project, before he passed away we had talked about working on a project together based on one of the stories he had wrote but it never got beyond the talking stage. After he passed away and I took my time to grieve I decided to start this project as a way to honor my brother and make sure he lives on for years to come with this project. The main character is named after him, Sean is the Main Character.
My brother was my first friend in this world and he's gone now I want to honor his memory and this project is the best way I know how to do it.
Q: What kind of Training are you doing to prepare for the "Career Defining Role" ?
A: I started with walking 5 miles a day (Now walking between 5 and 10 miles a day most days) I started Tai Chi which is amazing for your mind and body, DDP Yoga is amazing for my body and mind, I picked up Kali with Stick and Knife training and I recently added boxing to my training routine. I want to have a variety of fighting styles to draw from playing this character.I think having Sean have this specific skill set makes him a more interesting character .
NOTE : I want to explain why I feel this project and character will be my "career defining" work. I feel that this character will be the most physically, mentally and emotional role I ever play as I'm not an actor I'm the creative guy behind the story not the guy that you see acting. I may never act in front of the camera after this role, who knows.
Q: What is the Genre of this project ?
A: It's a sub genre of the Action / Adventure genre. It's also going to play out as a SIXTEEN episode web series which will later be released on DVD.
Q: Can you tell us a little bit about your character?
A: Sean is a stand up guy with a strong moral code and values that he lives by and he's a huge fan of the Washington Nationals baseball team.
Q: When will this project be released ?
A: While it's on the Top Guy Production release schedule it's a project that is in flux, I would like to shoot is sooner rather then later but that will be a matter to discuss with Chris Fyfe who will be directing / producing the project.
NOTE : All of our projects are in a state of flux unless they are currently in production like our next project The Vengeful One.
I hope this has helped answer some of the questions about this project and shown my fans why this project is so important to me. stay tuned for updates on my social media and of course here on the blog.
STAY HUMBLE, STAY HUNGRY MY FRIENDS :)
