As many of you know I try to make as many references as I can in my movies with places, names of characters stuff like that because I think it's important to pay respect to the films that I watched as a youngster and that molded me into the person I am today .
On my Podcast The Maine Morgue I spoke about whats next for us now that we are going to start working on the final movie in the Sins of Man Trilogy, I mean it's basically been all about Sins of Man for the for the last two years and now that the final movie is going into production in the spring / summer of 2017 I have to start thinking about what's coming out in 2018 from Wicked Carnival Productions ?
I know I want to do a SyFy movie (Most likely coming out in 2020) with Chris Fyfe because we will make a kick ass SYFY movie for fans :) I have several more Slasher projects in the works, I have a web series (Most likely the next project) that is the lead in for a feature film (Most likely coming out in 2019) as well as a monster movie in very early development and a superhero movie in very very early development .
The possibilities are really endless because once I get an idea in my head it's there until I get it worked out either in an outline or script. I'm excited for the future for many reasons but mainly because I'm living my dream of making movies :)
I want to end this blog with a weird little story, when I was typing the script for Sins of Man III I got to the end of my outline and as I typed the final lines of the script I stopped and looked at the screen and said "That's it... There's no hook to tell the audience there is a sequel ?" and I sat there for a moment or two and realized that this was the end of the trilogy and there was no need to write a hook or a scene that hinted that Mortis was still out there some how, it was a very awkward moment but also a very cool one when I started to think about how far I've come since this all started ....
The next chapter in the chronicles of Wicked Carnival Productions is coming as for what it will be I will talk to Chris Fyfe and we will decide what we will do next .
STAY HUMBLE, STAY HUNGRY MY FRIENDS :)
