What many of you don't know is that I am a father of three autistic children whom I love with all my heart they are my whole world and they know that.
My oldest son Brian has a genius IQ and is very high functioning on the Autism spectrum he is in college level classes as a freshmen in High School, I've very prove of how far he has come so far and the sky is the limit for this kid .
My Youngest son is also high functioining, not at his brothers level but close, he's smart and very much a daddy's boy and always wants to wrestle with daddy lol that kid is tough as hell too. (he gets that from his mother)
Lilly has had many delays in life and didn't speak in full sentences until she was 4 years old, we were in the supermarket she was in her stroller and she was looking at all the colorful boxes of cereal, something about the box of fruit loops and said "I want that", I almost started crying in the middle of the isle we were low on money at the time so I put everything else back on the shelves and I bought her the fruit loops that was the happiest I had seen her eating her fruit loops the next morning .
We recently lost our in home support for Lilly due to circumstances beyond our control and Lilly has started to regress in her progress to become more independent in self care among other areas so we went to her developmental doctor and she suggested that Lilly might benefit from an emotional support animal (ESA) . we started looking into this for Lilly because we will do anything to help our kids. Our Doctor suggested that we adopt an adult cat from a shelter so we could avoid any issues with a kitten biting / scratching the kids, one that is used to having a family and kids around, makes sense, right ?
We have been approved by our Property Manager to get a cat after we pay the $100 dollar pet fee . we started looking at local shelters for cats that might be a good fit for not only Lilly but the rest of the family as well.
Step one done, now we went and applied to adopt a cat from our local shelter and they approved us quickly so now we have the $100 dollar pet fee to pay and an $80 adoption fee to pay from the shelter.
My wife started a go fund me page to raise money for this and we have been getting alot of support and we are grateful to everyone who has helped so far, we are asking to raise $200 dollars to cover the costs of the pet fee and adoption fee and the additional $20 dollars would go towards kitty food for the fuzzy ball of love .
We love our daughter and want to help her in any way we can but sometimes money is an issue and we need help, I'm asking you to find it in your heart to help my little angel get her Emotional Support Animal, THANK YOU so much for reading this blog, Supporting Wicked Carnival Productions and for being a horror fan ...
