While most would think I'm a Lightside of the Force follower I will admit that I walk the fine line that is the Gray area of the Force . I see both sides of The Force and understand how and why someone could easily follow the darkside of The Force because it's much easier to give into hate, fear and the thirst for power . As a person with anger issues I ofthen have to fight the daqrkside that resides in me back down to let the lightside take control of the situation .
Like I said it's much easier to give into the darkside as it pulls on you as you become angry with your neighbor for not taking their trash to the dumpster or show anger towards your mother for not getting you the X Box S1 for Christmas but seriously what's the point ? There have been days recently that I start to feel the anger growing inside me and I have a battle within myself to make sure I do what's right .
Fear is a big thing for me as an actor / entertainer I fear that I will fail to deliver a solid performance, as a screen writer I fear that I will not be able to deliver a script that makes the movie better . I fear that I will not be a good enough director to bring the script to life . I try hard every single day not to give into that fear and battle to be a better actor / entertainer as well as a better writer / director .
When I was working on the Star Wars episode of The Maine Morgue Podcast (Which is up on our youtube channel as well as here under The Maine Morgue menu) I did alot of research and rewatched all the movies in the Saga as well as alot of Star Wars videos on youtube.
I wanted to have an understanding of things that happened on screen that I may have missed as well as be upto date on all the wild fan theroies that were flying around the internet like the Melenium Falcon flying around the galaxy. I did my homework as best I could and I watched roughly 72 hours worth of Star Wars videos which was tedious but so worth it in the end because I now have such a deeper understanding of the Force .
Everyday is a battle to remain balanced in the Force within myself and I will continue to learn and grow in 2017 and beyond . 2017 will be a big year for Wicked Carnival Productions as well as The Maine Morgue Podcast ! Stay Tuned for updates !!
Stay Humble, Stay Hungry and May The Force Be With You, Always .
