I love talking to fans from allover the world via social media I have met fans from Germany, France, Italy, the UK, England, India, Brazil, Egypt, Canada, all across the US, Ireland, Scotland and many more places and I honestly do love talking to fans because at heart I am a fan just like all of you and I carry that with me when I'm working on a project. So here are some Questions answered for you guys and gals ...
1. QUESTION : What do you do to combat writer's block ?
ANSWER : The first thing I do is I don't panic, panic leads to rash decisions in writing where sometimes you'll writing things that make no sense just so you can fill some pages. The next thing I do is step out of the office and take a break weather it's to play with my son or watch a movie with my wife, I leave the office until I have something to write, no exceptions. I find that relaxing and taking my mind of the current project often breaks the block down the fastest.
2. QUESTION : Where do you get your ideas / inspiration for screenplays ?
ANSWER : My inspiration comes from many places, music, movies, conversations etc. I wrote an entire screen play from one song, the idea for my Christmas themed slasher movie came to me when was watching Christmas specials and playing with my 5 yr old son one day last week, so my ideas come out of no where sometimes.

4. QUESTION : Who in the industry do you look up to and who has helped you the most ?
ANSWER : I look up to alot of people in the industry from Wes Craven, Kevin Williamson, Sean Cunningham, Todd Farmer, Kevin Smith, Tobin Bell, Scout Compton, Rob Zombie, Sarah Nicklin, Eli Roth,As far as who has helped me the most I would say Larry Zerner (Shelley from Friday The 13th part 3 now an entertainment laywer) has always been willing to help me with legal questions on a more creative level I would say the most helpful people have been
Sean S. Cunningham and Todd Farmer. Sean was an interesting experience I sent him an autograph request and mentioned in my letter that I was trying my hand at screenwriting and planned to make my first movie and he signed my DVD's and added a hand written note that reads "Thank you for your kind words. Work Hard, Do Good and Amazing Things Will Happen" that note hands on my wall in my office as a reminder to always do those things as for Todd Farmer, Todd helped me find my voice in my writing, I had written a script for Halloween 3 as a writing exercise and jokingly I tweeted to Todd asking "who do I send it to" ? He replied back "No One, write your own script you'll be better off for it" and I did just that, If I ever had a question about screenwriting or storyline Todd was a Tweet away and always helped me.

I have the WWE network so I get all the PPV's for $9.99 a month, the reason I watch all that stuff is for the entertainment and they write some good storylines as well.

ANSWER : Yes and no, Yes I want to be recognized for my work in terms of horror fans knowing my name and my movies and that type of recognition and no because I don't need a trophy case full of awards to validate myself as an artist, would like to win an award or two, yes but that is't the only way I measure success in this industry because let's be honest there are many of amazing films that DON'T win Oscars and Horror films never get nominations for the major awards.
13. QUESTION : If someone gave you a ONE MILLION DOLLARS to make one movie or a bunch of movies which path would you take and why ?
ANSWER : This is a great question and one that if you asked 12 people you would probably get 12 different answers but here is mine, I would make several films because being on a low budget / no budget for Sins of Man : Rise of Mortis we learned to do some pretty cool things with little to no money, so I would take the million dollars and make 10 movies with a $100,000 dollar budget for each film.
